You simply can’t beat a great Sunday lunch. Of course it tastes even better if the preparation, cooking and cleaning is far, far away from your kitchen and left to someone else for a change. So leave it to us. After all, it is our favourite time of the week.
Parva boasts the best Sunday lunch in East Sussex - and while we know that’s a bold claim, from the moment you enter Horsted Place and arrive at this unpretentious and modern but wonderfully British hotel, you’ll see what we mean. With roaring fires and uninterrupted views, aromas of hearty home-cooked meals using only the freshest locally sourced produce escaping our kitchens, we do think it’s a Sunday lunch that can’t be beaten. Our menus are always changing so make sure you check the website for the latest offering.
Tasty Sunday Roast In East Sussex
Whether it’s two courses or three that you opt for, we’re about to take you on a culinary journey you’ll never forget. Featuring all the trimmings (and by trimmings we mean Yorkshire puds of course), our menu always includes a traditional roast as well as alternatives such as Butter Roasted Wild Cod or a wonderful vegetarian dish of Vegetable Wellington.
If it’s starters and desserts on the cards for this Sunday lunch, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised by our variety of exquisite starters which include: Roasted Celeriac Soup; Torched Cured Mackerel; and a firm favourite Duck Liver Parfait.
We promise we’ll give you a moment or two to rest between courses, as we know for sure there’ll be room for pudding once you cast your eye over the options on the menu. Here goes - we dare you not to try one of these… a warm Sticky Toffee Pudding, Bramley Apple Crumble Tart, Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta, a selection of ice creams and sorbets and a cheese board selection.
Did we mention we have sides, olives, a charcuterie board and coffees too for the ultimate Sunday lunch in East Sussex?

Feast and sleep
Who isn’t exhausted after a Sunday lunch? After using up all of your senses, taking in the relaxing surroundings, savouring the flavours and enjoying great company, not to mention the ‘I’ve left room for pudding’ situation we always find ourselves in, if you’re anything like us (and the rest of the British public) it’s time for a nap.
Exit the Parva Restaurant and make your way through our grand Victorian mansion before collapsing in one of the most comfortable and luxurious beds you’ll ever experience. From a double room right up to a master suite, our luxury rooms feature all the mod cons as part of this elegant country stay ready to welcome you in for a peaceful night’s rest after an unforgettable Sunday lunch.
