Horsted Place Re-Opens on 4th July
Re-opening Date Confirmed
Following the announcement yesterday by Prime Minister Boris Johnson that hotels and restaurants will soon be permitted to re-open, we are delighted to confirm that Horsted Place will once again be open from Saturday 4th July 2020.
Please see below our earlier statement which sets out our new way of working and the changes we are implementing to ensure the safety of both
our guests and our staff.
We very much look forward to welcoming you back to Horsted Place.
Horsted Place Plans to Re-open on 4th July
We would like to thank all of you for your continued support in these uncertain times and are now excited to be opening our doors again, and are looking forward to welcoming you back. Our planned re-opening date is Saturday 4th July and this is in line with the current Government timetable for lifting restrictions.
We have been working towards the goal of ensuring that all our guests feel safe and welcome when they return to stay or dine with us. We are following governmental guidelines which will allow us to re-open a safe environment for both guests and staff. The measures we have put in place have been implemented to create a dependable and comfortable experience. Horsted Place has the great advantage of available space – we can ensure proper distancing between tables whilst still having an amazing atmosphere. We are also lucky to have a wealth of outdoor space to offer on the terrace, lawn and gardens.
We will be serving a smaller number of guests, so that we can follow the advice of 2 metre social distancing wherever possible. We will also have additional control measures in place to allow for situations where social distancing is more difficult.
Pre-booking is essential and we ask that all reservations be made by telephone so that a member of our team can explain in more detail our new policies and procedures. We regret that we will not be able to accept any guests without a prior booking.
We have always prided ourselves on both a high standard of service and maintaining a very high level of hygiene. This will not only continue but be enhanced to cater for the new environment that faces us. Furthermore, our staff will be undergoing additional training and will continually monitor all public areas to ensure guest safety.
All the team at Horsted Place are looking forward to getting back to what we do best; offering fine dining with a warm welcome and personal service in beautiful surroundings. At the same time as providing great hospitality, we want to assure you of our commitment to a new way of working so that we all stay safe. We will review the way we work continually, in line with new information as it is released, and we very much look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Horsted Place Temporary Closure
The wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is most important to us at Horsted Place and, following the latest advice from the Government, we have made the difficult decision to close our hotel until further notice.
We look forward to when we can reopen and begin welcoming our guests back to the hotel; while we wait for this date, we will utilise the onsite team to keep the hotel and gardens looking as delightful as ever.
All bookings will be offered the opportunity to rebook to another date within the next 12 months, or a full refund can be provided if preferred.
Please all stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you to Horsted Place in the not too distant future.
