About Horsted Place
What makes Horsted tick
The former retreat of the Windsor's, our Victorian Gothic Revival country house lies deep in the Sussex countryside, steeped in history, dating back to 1850.
Step beyond the redbrick façade and you enter a world of gilt-framed paintings, roaring fires and even warmer welcomes.
Converted into a hotel in the 1980s, it still bears the hallmarks and traces of its auspicious past, but with one foot firmly in the future.
From acclaimed afternoon teas to relaxing rooms and superb service, Horsted Place Hotel is still every bit the masterpiece it was when Pugin first created it.
