If you are planning a wedding, Horsted Place can provide a wonderfully romantic setting at any time of the year.

Two of our rooms are licensed for marriage ceremonies - the warm and intimate Library which can seat up to 50 guests and the larger elegant Terrace Room which, with its French doors  onto the formal gardens, is a most delightful choice for gatherings of up to one hundred.

The extensive gardens landscaped by Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe make the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs - glorious in summer, but in the spring the wooded drive is carpeted with bluebells and in the autumn the changing colours of the trees are vibrant in the softer sunlight.

Horsted Place is available for exclusive use for twenty-four hours which means that all our twenty bedrooms and suites belong to the wedding party on that night.    We can only offer music and dancing if exclusive use is taken.   Also, due to the size and nature of the building, Horsted Place is not suitable for wedding parties involving large numbers of small children where play areas and other facilities are required.
