Click Here to see a slideshow of photographs taken at a recent Horsted Place wedding. Horsted Place is the perfect venue for a country house wedding in the Sussex countryside. From the ceremony itself, to fine dining for your guests, your wedding can be as grand or as private as you’ve always dreamed it would be. We have three areas licensed for marriage ceremonies: the warm and intimate Library can seat up to 50 guests while the larger elegant Terrace Room with French doors on to the formal gardens is the perfect setting for gatherings of up to one hundred. Ceremonies can also take place on the lawn with guests seated in front of the Victorian style summerhouse where the register is signed. The glorious gardens at Horsted Place change with the seasons, making the perfect backdrop for your wedding at any time of the year. Our dedicated staff are on hand to discuss your individual requirements and tailor make your wedding. If you are looking for ideas for flowers, and do not have a florist in mind, our in-house florist, Julia Crosthwaite, will be happy to advise. From the moment you place your special day in our care, we will provide the impeccable, friendly service that makes us what we are, and that has seen husbands and wives returning to celebrate their wedding anniversaries year after year.
Exclusive use Horsted Place is available for exclusive use for twenty-four hours, which means that all our twenty bedrooms and suites belong to the wedding party on that night. We can only offer music and dancing if exclusive use is taken. Please note: Due to the size and nature of the building, Horsted Place is not suitable for wedding parties involving large numbers of small children where play areas and other facilities are required.
LATE AVAILABILITY The earliest weekend dates now available for exclusive use of house weddings are in August 2010. For more information about special rates for these remaining dates please contact Liz or Jenny on 01825 750581 |
